My Beef burger patty is inspired by very famous “Peshawari chappal kebab”. It is juicy, aromatic, and soft. I love the combination of spices in chappal kebab and I thought why not I use these kebabs as my burger patty. I have combined these patties with slice of cheese, mayo, lettuce, and ketchup. Chappal kebab is a famous street food all over Pakistan. Traditional chappal kebab is made with beef mince that includes 20% beef fat too. Moreover this kebab is fried in melted beef fat. But I don’t like too much fat that’s why I have used regular beef mince and fried it in cooking oil. We can also grill this patty but it will not be as crispy as fried one. This kebab involves too many spices and ingredients. It’s better to prepare mince one day before when you are planning to make burgers.

Suggestions to make perfect beef burger in heaven

  • Burger patty should be soft inside and crispy outside. For this we should make our patty thick. It is also important that you don’t overcook it.
  • Burger patty is thicker than kebab. Make a thicker patty and there is one useful tip. Take a handful of mince batter and spread it evenly on plate. Turn that plate upside down, separate patty from plate and put directly into pan for frying.
  • While assembling, put patty in burger and then a slice of cheese on it. We can also use grated cheese rather than slice one. After putting cheese put burgers in oven until cheese softens. Take out burgers from oven and add rest of ingredients.
  • I have added only lettuce in my burgers. But you can add other vegetables of your choice. Slices of onion, tomato, jalapenos, and olives, all go very well with this burger.
  • Sauces are also optional. I have added simple mayonnaise and tomato ketchup, but you can add also add garlic mayo, bar b q sauce and mustard sauce. But I suggest that don’t add too much salad and sauces in your burger. They will over power the original taste of burger.
  • French fries go very well with these burgers. I highly recommend serving French fries or potato wedges with them.
