Chocolate and caramel are two divine flavors that go very well together. In fudge combining these two things makes it beautifully irresistible. This chocolate caramel fudge is mouth watering, delicious and so easy to make. If you crave for something sweet after having your meal, make this fudge and keep it in your fridge. It is a perfect treat to satisfy your sweet tooth. With few basic ingredients you can make it quickly, less than 15 minutes. It is also one of the tastiest sweets which you can make and gift someone on every festival.

I can’t help myself to come up with new ideas of making and eating sweets. I have used milk chocolate with chunks of honey in it because I like it. But it’s totally your choice, which chocolate you want to use. You can use milk chocolate as well as dark chocolate. Condensed milk is very important in making fudge as it gives standard softness and creaminess to your fudge. I have made salted caramel sauce as sweet fudge and salted caramel makes heavenly combo.

Chocolate caramel fudge

This recipe is definitely going to be your family favorite and you will thank me for sharing this recipe (may be not). Experience this creamy, smooth, and gooey delight which disappears immediately as soon as you serve it. Especially you can make this fudge, pack it beautifully, and gift to your loved ones on special occasions.

Chocolate caramel fudge ingredients:

  • Condensed milk: main ingredient of fudge is condensed milk. It gives desired rich flavor and softness to our fudge. I am using canned condensed milk. If you want to make it at home, you can check my recipe of creamy mango ice cream.
  • Butter: we use unsalted dairy butter in two parts. For making fudge we need melted butter and for making caramel sauce we need soft butter.
  • Chocolate: you can use dark chocolate, cooking chocolate, chocolate chips, milk chocolate, or any other chocolate of your choice.
  • Cinnamon powder: I have included cinnamon powder in my fudge. It gives a very beautiful flavor and smell to our fudge, but you can skip it if you don’t like it.
  • Brown sugar: if you are using milk chocolate, it is already very sweet. Again condensed milk also contains a lot of sugar, but a little brown sugar is necessary to caramelize our fudge.
  • White sugar: to make caramel sauce I am using white sugar. Brown sugar will make your sauce dark in color.
  • Cream: heavy cream or double cream is best for making our caramel sauce.

Variations you can make in chocolate caramel fudge:

  • If you want a little crunch in your fudge, add nuts of your choice. Roast nuts, crush them, and add in your fudge. You can add raisins also.
  • Orange has a very unique and distinct smell which goes very well with fudge. I have added a few strings of orange peel in my fudge to enhance its flavor.
  • Vanilla complements every sweet well. You can also add vanilla extract in fudge; its smell gives beautiful aroma to fudge.

Ingredients

For chocolate fudge

  • 1 cup Milk chocolate
  • cup Condensed milk
  • 3 tbsp Butter Melted
  • 1 tbsp each Cinnamon powder and brown sugar Mix both of them
  • few Slices of orange peel

For caramel sauce

  • 1 cup White sugar
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 1 and ½ cup Dairy cream

Instructions

  • On a medium heat add condensed milk in pan.
  • Add melted butter and mix.
  • Make a mixture of cinnamon and brown sugar and mix.
  • Add a few strings of orange peel.
  • Now add chocolate.
  • Keep stirring until chocolate is fully melted
  • Pour the fudge mixture in a container and keep it in fridge to set.
  • For making caramel add sugar in the pan and let it melt on slow heat.
  • When sugar is completely melted, add butter and mix.
  • Add cream and mix until your caramel is ready.
  • In the end add a pinch of salt.
  • Pour the caramel in jar.
  • On a plate spread caramel sauce.
  • Place your chocolate fudge on it and add caramel sauce on top as well.
  • Decorate the fudge and serve.
