I am a big fan of natural drinks. Lemonades are always my favorite.This mint cucumber lemonade recipe is with detoxifying properties. The flavor of fresh mint, lemon and cucumber, makes it very refreshing and tasty. It is super simple to make. It gets ready in just ten minutes. We can serve it in parties and family gatherings or just drink it to refresh yourself.

Cucumber lemonade ingredients:

  • Cucumber: Take fresh cucumbers. Peel them and cut them in cubes.
  • Lemon juice: We can use lime juice as well in the recipe. Lemons are sourer in taste. So if you are using lime juice instead of lemon juice then you will have to use more quantity.
  • Mint leaves: Take fresh mint and separate the leaves from its stems. Home grown fresh mint is best to use.
  • Chia seeds: Soak the chia seeds in water to use them in the drink.
  • Honey: In order to balance the sourness of lemons some sort of sweetener is required.   Honey is the best natural sweetener.

Serving suggestions:

  • Always serve chilled.
  • Garnish all the serving glass with fresh mint and slice of lemon.
  • Top the serving glass with soaked chia seeds.

Detoxifying mint cucumber lemonade

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 medium cucumbers
  • 1 bunch fresh mint
  • ½ cup lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds soaked in water
  • 5-6 tbsp honey you can adjust according to your taste
  • 5-6 cubes ice
  • 1 and ½ glass water

Instructions

  • Peel the cucumbers and cut them into pieces.
  • Separate mint leaves from their stem.
  • Blend cucumber, mint leaves, honey and lemon juice together.
  • Stain the mixture .
  • Add water and ice.
  • Pour into glass and add already soaked chia seeds on the top.
